Priyanka Sugumaran

I joined Mentis in 2017, after completing my under-graduation. I was looking for a job opportunity and I was referred to MENTIS through Meera. Being my first company, I was both excited and anxious about my career growth and opportunities Learning in Mentis has been continuous. MENTIS has given me ample opportunities to evolve professionally. Today, I have hands-on experience in JAVA, Angular JAVA, REST API and spring. Freedom and flexibility have helped me to explore and expand my technical knowledge.

My teammates, superiors and cross functional team members have been incredibly supportive, and I have learned from each one of them. Growth of each of the individuals is one of the prime objectives in MENTIS work culture so much so that Rajesh himself spends time with each one of us mentoring and motivating us. Rajesh has been a pillar of strength in my career journey and transformation. The development team starting from the VP to my peers have been extremely friendly and easily approachable especially Padma and Krishnan have spent a lot of time to ensure that my fundamentals are solid and positioned for future success. When I look back at my journey, I realized MENTIS has had a profound impact in my life.

Fun has been an integral part of the MENTIS Family. We had several team outings, and all festivals has been celebrated with great zeal. Over time these team bonding and fun activities has helped me to come out of my introvert personality. The personal bonding and friendship over the years is simply exceptional and every day I look forward with great enthusiasm to work with all these wonderful people.

This pandemic has certainly impacted me, I miss coming to office and I hope that situation turns normal soon and am eagerly waiting to meet all of them in person.

Apart from professional front, I have great interest in cooking. I try to recreate new dishes. I like to spend my time with my pet and with my family.
