I remember the burning passion I used to have for computers at a very young age. When other kids my age were busy playing games on computers, I was more interested in learning about them. The more I learned, the more I was drawn towards them. So, I dug up any available library books and online resources and learned how to code. My first hands-on experience was building the first online bill payment portal for my village. My thirst for exploring more about computers grew, which led me to pursue computer science as my under graduation. Upon graduating, I worked in a few firms, but I was not able to apply all that I knew and felt as though I couldn’t explore technology to its fullest. It was around this time, in 2014, that MENTIS had started its India operations.
I was one of the first few people to join MENTIS India, the third person to do so, in fact. I started as a User Interface Developer and quickly transitioned into a Database Developer. Now, I am a Development Manager, running my team. I am grateful to be a part of a company that gives you space and flexibility to enhance your skills and recognizes you for your aptitude. I have had the freedom to learn from my experiences and make mistakes. I have also worked cross-functionally with other business units, including pre-sales, implementation & product management. Recently, I got the chance to travel to Switzerland and France to work on some exciting and challenging projects. My growth in MENTIS has been unparalleled, not only in terms of my career, but also personally. I’m very excited to be a part of this rising trajectory with MENTIS.
